Ohio State reveals first look at Rose Bowl uniforms for rematch vs. Oregon
Ohio State is still alive in the College Football Playoff, steamrolling Tennessee in an emphatic first-round victory Saturday night. Now, the Buckeyes are lined up for a rematch vs. Oregon in the Rose Bowl.
All along, it felt like the Ducks and Buckeyes were destined to play a rematch from their October showdown at some point in the postseason. And the Rose Bowl feels particularly fitting with the old Pac-12 Oregon program facing the historic Big Ten program in Ohio State.
With the New Year’s Day matchup set coming out of the weekend, the Buckeyes teased their uniforms for the quarterfinals on social media. After going all-scarlet vs. the Volunteers, it looks like Ohio State will be back to the traditional road whites with grey pants with the social media account of the Buckeyes showing off the white uniform with the Rose Bowl patch.
It’s definitely a classic look for Ohio State, and it will be interesting to see which uniform Oregon counters with.
