Ohio State’s tradition of the Block O jersey continues as the Buckeyes have named graduate student and wide receiver Kamryn Babb the recipient of the #0 jersey, the team announced on Saturday.

The “Block O” jersey is in special memory of former Ohio State player Bill Willis and College Football Hall of Famer and Pro Football Hall of Famer. The other two recipients of the “Block O” jersey are defensive end Jonathon Cooper (2020) and offensive tackle Thayer Munford (2021).

Babb enrolled at the Ohio State University in 2018. He suffered two different knee injuries in the 2018 and 2019 college football seasons. He encountered his first playing time in the 2020 season.

The following season, he was voted as a team captain but encountered another knee injury. Babb looks to finish the 2022 season healthy and make an impact.

Hopefully, Babb is able to stay on the field this season. Head coach Ryan Day has already said the Buckeyes will look to rotate players at the WR spot to replace Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave.
