Ohio State has revealed the uniforms that the Buckeyes wear against No. 2 Clemson in the Sugar Bowl, and the look Ryan Day’s squad is going with will be quite familiar to some people.

The Buckeyes Twitter account revealed the look earlier on Monday here:

This is the second straight Sugar Bowl that the Buckeyes will be wearing these uniforms. They wore them in 2015 against Alabama in the Sugar Bowl when they took the Crimson Tide down. OSU also wore them in the 2016 Fiesta Bowl against Clemson, but they ended up losing that game.

According to Eleven Warriors, the uniforms are meant to honor the 1968 National Championship team. They’re hoping that their luck against Alabama will be the same in this matchup against Clemson even though they’re underdogs.

The game is expected to kick off at 8 p.m. ET on Jan. 1 with the winner advancing to the National Championship Game. Here’s hoping the retro look provides good vibes for the Buckeyes.
