Ohio State is starting to see a bump in season ticket sales for the upcoming football season, according to a report from the Columbus Dispatch.
Per the report, the school has sold 53,606 season tickets to the general public, faculty and staff for this season. It gets the Buckeyes back to a pre-pandemic level of sales for football tickets.
The report also states that this is the highest non-student ticket amount sold since the school hit a total of 53,926 in 2017.
Ohio State will host 8 home games during the 2022 season. The year will be bookended by two intriguing matchups, with the Buckeyes starting the campaign at home against Notre Dame on Sept. 3 and closing out the regular season against rival Michigan on Nov. 26.
The Buckeyes will also play each of their first 5 games of the season inside The Shoe. After Notre Dame, Ohio State will welcome in Arkansas State, Toledo, Wisconsin and Rutgers before its first road trip (Michigan State).
Ohio State will also host last season’s B1G West champion Iowa on Oct. 22 and B1G East foe Indiana on Nov. 12.
