Iowa felt the sting as the Buckeyes rolled the Hawkeyes 54-10 on Saturday.

On 3rd-and-goal late in the 4th quarter, Ohio State tight end turned fullback Mitch Rossi swung out wide, catching a pass and sailing into the end zone untouched. With a good PAT, the touchdown boosted the Buckeyes to 54-10 over the Hawkeyes.

Rossi’s TD put the Buckeyes in the history books, having scored more points against Iowa than any other team in the Kirk Ferentz era. For those unaware, Ferentz stepped to the helm in Iowa City for the 1999 season.

The Buckeyes improved to 8-0 on the season, making a run for a College Football Playoff berth. Ohio State tops the nation in yardage and scoring, and QB CJ Stroud is considered by many as a Heisman front-runner. The No. 2 Buckeyes have a favorable remaining schedule leading up to the rivalry game with Michigan to end the regular season.
