College football fans were ready for Week 12’s huge matchup between No. 7 Michigan State traveling to take on No. 4 Ohio State. As it turned out, Ohio State was more ready as they easily dominated Michigan State at home 56-7. Ohio State outscored Michigan State 49-0 in the first half.

Ohio State named quarterback C.J. Stroud and wide receiver Chris Olave as the Offensive Players of the Game. Stroud passed for 32-of-35 in the air for 432 yards, 6 touchdowns, and a QBR of 98.7. Olave recorded 7 receptions for 140 yards and 2 touchdowns as he broke the program record for most receiving touchdowns in a career.
The defensive line for Ohio State was named “Players” of the Game for holding Michigan State’s offense to 66 rushing yards on 21 carries. Demario McCall was named Special Teams Player of the Game.
