The No. 3 Ohio State Buckeyes are currently in a tough battle against the feisty Tulsa Golden Hurricane. Ohio State suffered a setback in the first quarter when left guard Thayer Munford was seen limping and was carted off to the locker room.

That’s bad news for the Buckeyes so early in the season.

Munford is one of the most experienced players on the team and is a leader on the offensive line. Munford has started in 33 games in the past 3 seasons and played 45 of 50 games in the last 4 seasons. He is also a high-caliber prospect for the upcoming 2022 NFL Draft.

Tulsa’s defense has been efficient in the first quarter against Ohio State by holding the Buckeyes to only 65 total yards accounted for. Ohio State will turn to redshirt freshman Trey Leroux at the left guard.
