Urban Meyer is a true road warrior.

Ohio State (6-0, 3-0) was able to remain undefeated with an intense 30-23 overtime win over Wisconsin in Madison, keeping its playoff aspirations alive and well. And with the inspiring comeback victory, the Buckeyes improved to 20-0 on the road under Meyer since he was hired in 2012.

“That’s a great win against a very good team,” said Meyer after the game. “That was great for our conference and obviously I can say we won the game so I feel great about it, that was a real one. I’m very proud of our guys, and when I say that I mean like really proud.”

The 20-game winning streak is currently tied with Jimmy Johnson’s Miami Hurricanes (1984-88) and is only five behind the all-time record of 25, which was set by Oklahoma during its dominance of the ’50s. Six of the 20 games came against ranked opponents, including three in a row.

A win next week at Penn State — another primetime kickoff — would pull Meyer into a 2nd place tie with Alabama legend Paul “Bear” Bryant.
