Ohio State is among the top five schools for one of the top players left to commit in the 2021 cycle.

Four-star linebacker Raesjon Davis released a top-five list on Sunday, which included the Buckeyes along with Oregon, LSU, USC, and Vanderbilt.

Davis is a former LSU commit, but after backing off from that pledge in December, he opted to bypass the early signing period and move his decision to the February period.

Rated as No. 45 overall, according to the industry-generated 247sports Composite Rankings, Davis is also ranked the No. 4 outside linebacker in the 2021 recruiting class. On 247Sports, Davis is the No. 65 prospect and the No. 4 outside linebacker in the cycle.

Davis released his list on his Twitter feed:

As things currently stand, Ohio State holds the No. 2 recruiting class nationally according to 247 Sports. Should the Buckeyes land Davis, that would give Ryan Day’s squad eight of the top-50 players for the class of 2021.
