Ohio State target, top-40 prospect Scotty Middleton sets commitment date

Ohio State basketball target Scotty Middleton, a top-40 prospect, has set a commitment date.

On Sunday, Sunrise Christian (Kansas) standout Middleton named Ohio State, Kansas, Seton Hall, Texas A&M and UConn as his top 5 teams ahead of an Aug. 6 commitment to be announced on Instagram live with ESPN National Recruiting Director Paul Biancardi.

Middleton, originally from Miami, Florida, is a 6-6, 180-pound small forward. On the 247Sports Composite, Middleton is rated 4-stars, the No. 3 Kansas recruit, No. 6 small forward and No. 36 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2023.
