Davies is ranked as the No. 100 overall prospect in the 2021 recruiting class and is the No. 10 cornerback, as well. Among California prospects, Davies ranks No. 11.

According to his evaluation on 247Sports, the 6-foot-1, 165-pound Davies brings plenty of physicality to the field who is an excellent tackler and is also capable of covering some of the top wide receivers in his area. His length allows him to break up plays quickly and he does a good job in run support.

The Buckeyes have already assembled an outstanding 2021 recruiting class with seven months remaining until the Early Signing Period. They have landed commitments from 18 players, 14 of which are four- or five-star talents. Thirteen of those verbal pledges are ranked inside the top 150.
