Ohio State to be without two key members of secondary in Week 10
Ohio State’s secondary will be short of Lathan Ransom and Denzel Burke on Saturday.
The Buckeyes released an injury report before kickoff with six players listed as out. The two haven’t missed much time this season.
Ransom has played in eight games, while Burke has played in seven. Losing two veterans in the secondary could hurt the Buckeyes.
Ransom has 34 total tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and 1 interception. Burke has accounted for 9 total tackles and 1 interception.
Others who won’t be playing include Miyan Williams, Kyion Grayes, Joe Roye, and Jason Moore.
Ohio State will be looking to increase its win streak over Rutgers to 10 games. The Scarlet Knights beat Indiana in their last game.
The Buckeyes won against Wisconsin in Week 9 after some sloppy play. Ohio State had 3 turnovers, but still escaped Madison with a 24-10 win.
Kyle McCord and company travel to New Jersey to face Rutgers, who are now bowl eligible.
