Ohio State and Notre Dame will have one of the more anticipated games of the 2022 season, and ticket prices are reflecting the interest.

The game is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC on Sept. 3 in The Horseshoe. To help promote the game, ESPN’s College GameDay will also be in Columbus to preview the colossal showdown between two blueblood programs. The Buckeyes are a 14.5-point favorite in the game.

The Irish will be coached by Marcus Freeman, who was hired to replace Brian Kelly. It will be his first full season as the leader at Notre Dame. Ryan Day will be entering his fourth season as the head coach at Ohio State. Much will be made about Freeman, a former Buckeye, making a return to Columbus, but he’s quick to point out that he’s coached there already on the visitors’ side when he was at Cincinnati.

Ticket prices, as collected by The Columbus Dispatch, are at least $285 at every major outlet.

On Seatgeek, tickets on Thursday ranged from tickets at $285 each for seats at the top of the stadium to $8,767 each for front-row tickets near the 50-yard line. StubHub tickets range from $336 to over $7,500 for mid-field club seats at the game. Ticketmaster offers similar deals, with tickets ranging from $345 to $5,299.
