One of Ohio State’s greatest offensive weapons will not be on the field on Saturday in Lincoln.

Leading wide receiver Garrett Wilson will not play for the Buckeyes against Nebraska. He was listed as unavailable for the B1G cross-division showdown, though there were no specifics provided on his situation.

Wilson is leading the Buckeyes with 687 yards and 6 touchdown catches on 43 receptions. He’s part of a three-headed monster at the receiver position, along with Chris Olave and Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

Ohio State is still loaded at the receiver position. In addition to Olave and Smith-Njigba, CJ Stroud has hit freshman Emeka Egbuka and tight end Jeremy Ruckert in the passing attack. TreVeyon Henderson has also been outstanding out of the backfield in his first season.

The Buckeyes are looking to add a road win to their resumé this weekend in Lincoln. Ohio State is 7-1 and will be looking to take down a 3-6 Nebraska team that has been within 1 possession in all 6 losses.
