The B1G football season is just two weeks old, but already Ohio State receivers Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave are making program history.

During Ohio State’s 38-25 win over Penn State on Saturday night, Wilson and Olave both eclipsed the 100-yard mark in receiving yardage. Olave led the way with 120 yards and 2 touchdowns on 7 receptions for the Buckeyes. Wilson wasn’t far behind, hauling in 11 catches for 111 yards in the victory.

Both players also eclipsed the 100-yard mark in OSU’s Week 1 victory over Nebraska. That week, Wilson was the leading receiver with 129 yards and a touchdown on 7 grabs. Olave ended the day with 6 catches for 104 yards.

According to Ohio State, it’s the first time in program history that two receivers started the season with 100-yard games in each of their first two contests. Just further evidence that the 2020 Buckeyes are a special team.

For the season Wilson has 18 catches for 240 yards and a touchdown. Olave has 13 receptions for 224 yards and 2 scores. No other player at Ohio State has more than 31 receiving yards this season.

Can the unstoppable receiving tandem making it three-straight? Ohio State is back in action next weekend against Rutgers.
