Ohio State basketball’s game against Kentucky on Saturday is now canceled due to this outbreak. The Buckeyes won’t be making the trip to Las Vegas.

OSU released a statement to confirm this news as all team-related activities will be suspended.
“The safety and well-being of the student-athletes, coaches, staff and Ohio State community is the highest priority,” the statement read. “All team-related activities have been suspended and the players and staff will continue to be tested according to Ohio State protocols in consultation with the Big Ten Conference.”
The game is currently not on track to be rescheduled.
Both Kentucky and Ohio State were scheduled to go into this game as 2 of the best teams in the country. The Buckeyes are No. 15 in the AP Poll and 8-2 overall, while the Wildcats are No. 21 and 7-2 overall.
