Ohio State center Billy Price has been named one of three finalists for the Rimington Trophy, presented to the best center in college football.

The announcement was made on Monday, as Price becomes the second Buckeye in two years to be named a finalist. Last year, Pat Elflein was the winner of the award.

LSU’s Will Clap and Alabama’s Bradley Bozeman were the other two finalists for the award.

Price has made 54 consecutive starts on the offensive line for the Buckeyes, a program record. He’s also a two-time captain and has been regarded as one of the top linemen in the country.

This season, Price has anchored an offensive line that allowed just 19 sacks this season and cleared the path for one of the best rushing offenses in the country. 11 times this season, Ohio State rushed for over 200 yards.

The presentation of the Rimington Trophy will be on January 13, 2018.
