Ohio State's Chris Holtmann says Buckeyes intending to return next week following COVID-19 pause
COVID has been surging throughout the sports world in the past few weeks and has impacted every league. That has been no different in college basketball over the past week and a half, with many canceled games due to outbreaks.
Ohio State has had to cancel 2 games on its schedule already; they were supposed to be in Las Vegas, NV., over the weekend to play Kentucky in the CBS Sports Classic. They have also canceled a home game against UT Martin scheduled for Dec 21.
Head coach of the Buckeyes, Chris Holtman, is confident the Buckeyes will be back on the court on Dec. 28th for its home tilt against New Orleans.
Chris Holtmann said Ohio State “fully intends” on returning to action Dec. 28 and all COVID-positive Buckeyes only have “light symptoms.” https://t.co/4ihx3FBO5A
