Ohio State needed a spark.

The Buckeyes’ opening drive went right down the field but resulted in a missed field goal. Since then, Urban Meyer’s offense couldn’t sniff Michigan’s red-zone.

After a great punt by Cameron Johnston, pinning the Wolverines to its own six-yard line, quarterback Wilton Speight got hit during his throw in his own end-zone resulting in Malik Hooker’s pick-six.

Hooker’s pick-six marks his third of the season for the Buckeyes, which is now a single-season record. Proving to be an opportunistic defense, it was also the team’s seventh of the year.
