Stadium’s Jeff Goodman reported on Saturday that Ohio State will take on national runner-up North Carolina in the Dec. 17 event. The game will be played at Madison Square Garden in New York.

The other game in the series will feature Kentucky and UCLA.

The CBS Sports Classic has featured Ohio State, Kentucky, UCLA and North Carolina since the 2014 season. The Buckeyes were unable to play last season because of COVID-19 concerns.

Ohio State owns a 4-3 overall record in the event, including a perfect 2-0 mark against North Carolina.

Last season, the Buckeyes owned a 20-12 record overall and a 12-8 mark in B1G play. Ohio State made it to the Round of 32 in the NCAA Tournament.
