Ohio State's Pat Elflein named semifinalist for Outland Trophy
Pat Elflein might want to invest in a trophy display for his home, just in case.
The Ohio State center was named one of five semifinalists for the Outland Trophy, an award presented to the nation’s most outstanding interior lineman.
Elflein was also named one of 20 candidates for the Rotary Lombardi Trophy earlier this week – along with teammate J.T. Barret – and is on the watch list for the Rimington Trophy for the nation’s best center.

Elflein has been a starter at the guard and center positions throughout his career and has been the anchor for Ohio State’s offensive line. He’s started in all 10 games so far for the Buckeyes.
