Scheduling more Power Five games is what everyone wants to see. It’s become one of the biggest storylines in college football, especially with the prominence of the College Football Playoff.

Ohio State is providing its fans, and the college football world, with plenty of those Power Five matchups for years to come.

Thursday, Ohio State announced that it has scheduled a home-and-home series with SEC power Georgia. The two teams will meet in Athens in 2030 and in Columbus in 2031.

But that matchup is just the most recent addition to a laundry list of major college football teams the Buckeyes have on the schedule for the next decade. Through the 2031 season, Ohio State has plenty of premier matchups lined up.

Here’s a look at Ohio State’s future Power Five opponents, following the news of the home-and-home series with Georgia:

  • 2020: at Oregon
  • 2021: Oregon
  • 2022: Notre Dame
  • 2023: at Notre Dame
  • 2024: at Washington
  • 2025: at Texas
  • 2025: Washington
  • 2026: Texas
  • 2030: at Georgia
  • 2031: Georgia

Those will be great non-conference tests for the Buckeyes, in addition to their nine B1G games each season. And in 2025, Ohio State will play two Power Five opponents, traveling to Texas and hosting Washington.

There’s plenty of excellent non-B1G football that will feature the Buckeyes for the next decade.
