No. 3 Ohio State is a home favorite vs. visiting No. 12 Oregon but not by as much as usual during the Ryan Day era.

Via ESPN’s Chris Fallica, this marks only the third occurrence that Ohio State is less than a 20-point home favorite since Ryan Day took over. According to Draft Kings, the Buckeyes are 14-point favorites against the Ducks.

The past performances under Day points to Ohio State defeating Oregon, as Fallica notes. ESPN’s SP+ is also predicting a victory for the Buckeyes this weekend.

Ohio State dropped an emotional hype video for the Sept. 11 home opener.

Ohio State hung on for a 45-31 victory at Minnesota in Week 1. Oregon edged Fresno State 31-24 in Week 1.

Ohio State is 9-0 vs. Oregon in the all-time series. This will be a rematch of the last time the two teams met when Ohio State defeated Oregon in the 2015 College Football Playoff Championship Game.

Ohio State-Oregon is slated for a noon EST kickoff and will be televised on FOX.
