An Oklahoma State off-field staffer has followed defensive coordinator Jim Knowles to Ohio State. Dan Hope of Eleven Warriors noticed that Brent Zdebski is listed on OSU’s staff directory as a Buckeyes defensive quality control coach, the same role he had at Oklahoma State under DC Knowles in 2021.

Zdebski has also updated the bio portion of his Twitter account to “The Ohio State University Football.” The 2 most recent tweets on his timeline are from the OSU football official account.

Zdebski has B1G familiarity. He spent 3 seasons (2018-20) as a graduate assistant at Wisconsin working with the Badgers defense. Zdebski got his coaching start in 2013 as a defensive student assistant at Pittsburgh. Zdebski spent the 2014 and 2015 seasons as an offensive student assistant at UMass. He’s also worked on staff at Eastern Michigan (2016) and Central Michigan, where he was a quality control assistant in 2017.
