Oregon might be getting some much-needed defensive line help for its big game against Ohio State this weekend.

Defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux suffered an injury in Week 1 against Fresno State and his status for Week 2 has been up in the air ever since. Judging by his social media posts, he made the trip to Columbus — but Ducks coach Mario Cristobal hasn’t said if Thibodeaux will play or not. In his last update, Cristobal said Thibodeaux is still day-to-day.

Thibodeaux is seen as one of the top NFL prospects in college football this season and is projected at or toward the top of multiple NFL mock drafts already. His availability would be huge for Oregon against an Ohio State team that didn’t allow a single QB hit in Week 1.

This is certainly something to monitor ahead of Saturday’s game.

No. 3 Ohio State and No. 12 Oregon are set to kick off Sept. 11 at noon ET on FOX.
