Two weeks ago, it was Roddy Gayle Jr. who committed to Ohio State. Now, it is another four-star recruit in Bruce Thornton.

The Buckeyes have a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving, with Thornton just the latest dish in their bountiful feast. The No. 26 player in the country, Thornton committed to Ohio State on Thursday according to 247Sports.

Indiana and Purdue were also in the mix for the talented guard.

“My goal is just to win a National Championship, I’m a winner and I want to be a winner at the highest level and when you win they will remember you,” Thornton said in his interview with 247Sports.

The newest Ohio State commit joins Gayle, a fellow guard who is also a four-star, and another guard in Bowen Hardman, a three-star who 247Sports has as a top 150 player in the nation. Thornton is ranked as the seventh best point guard in the nation and the second-best player in Georgia.

It is shaping up to be a monster recruiting class for the Buckeyes and comes on the heels of Ohio State’s 2021 class that featured two four-star recruits as well.
