We’ve waited a long time for the Ohio State-Oklahoma showdown in Norman.

Now, we’ll have to wait a little longer.

Due to some storms in Norman, the Buckeyes and Sooners will not kick off until at least 9 p.m. ET. The game was originally scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The start can be delayed even further if more lightning in the area is spotted. It’s the second straight weeks that the Buckeyes will deal with a lightning delay.

The No. 3 Buckeyes could theoretically have a No. 1-ranking at stake. No. 2 Florida State was destroyed by No. 10 Louisville and  No. 1 Alabama is in a nail-biter at No. 19 Ole Miss.

The game is set to air on FOX.

Well, make that 9:10 p.m. ET.
