Fleming was seen standing on the sideline not participating while Smith-Njigba was not on the field at all as Ohio State began warming up. Fleming originally missed the season opener, and did not play against Notre Dame. Fleming was dealing with an undisclosed injury.

Last week in Ohio State’s win over Notre Dame, Smith-Njigba had just 2 receptions for 3 yards. Smith-Njigba left the game early, and it was revealed that he had a hamstring injury.

While at this point it is unclear why the two receivers weren’t warming up, it seems like neither will be playing in today’s game. The Buckeyes take on the Red Wolves at 12 p.m. ET and look to handle business against the non-conference foe with no major hiccups.
