Paris Johnson Jr. talks high and lows of transition to OT this season
Paris Johnson Jr. moved to offensive tackle after spending the majority of his Ohio State career as a guard. Eleven Warriors’ Griffin Strom posted what he said on Twitter.
Johnson has been a great veteran presence on the Ohio State offensive line. He’s in his third season with the program and has appeared in 18 career games with 13 starts.

The Ohio State OT stated that he has liked switching to tackle so far this season. However, there are still some things that he needs to get bette at.
“I’ve definitely enjoyed the transition to tackle,“ said Johnson. “I’m starting to see that success, but there’s still things I have to upgrade.”

Regardless of any upgrades that Johnson feels like he needs to make, Ohio State’s offense has been one of the best in the country partially because of the offensive line. The Buckeyes’ offense is averaging 529.6 total yards, 303.4 yards passing, and 226.2 yards rushing per game this season.
