No. 4 Ohio State is in the driver’s seat for a spot in the College Football Playoff in large part because of a sensational defensive underclassman. Freshman defensive back Denzel Burke has taken the nation by storm during his first season with the Buckeyes.

A statistic by PFF College further illustrates just how dominant Burke has been:

The 6-foot, 189-pound Burke hasn’t allowed a touchdown on a remarkable 293 snaps. Burke has amassed 11 solo tackles, an interception, and seven pass deflections.

Ohio State will have a major clash with visiting No. 19 Purdue on Nov. 13. Ohio State defeated Nebraska 26-17 last week. The Buckeyes are 8-1 overall and first place in the B1G East.

Purdue is 6-3 overall and first place in the B1G West. Ohio State leads the all-time series 39-15-2 vs. Purdue. The Boilermakers won the last meeting 49-20 in 2018.

Purdue-Ohio State is slated for a 3:30 p.m. (EST) kickoff and will be televised on ABC.
