Some Ohio State fans took Saturday’s upset loss to Oregon pretty hard. After all, it was the first time since 2018 the Buckeyes have dropped a regular season game.
Not long after Ohio State fell 35-28 inside The Horseshoe on Saturday, a photo of one dejected Buckeye fan went viral. The fan was spotted sitting on the edge of a driveway, where he hadn’t moved in over an hour, according to the person who took the photo.
The shock of Saturday’s outcome, apparently, was very real.

Saturday’s loss for Ohio State was Ryan Day’s first regular season defeat as the head coach in Columbus. In the previous two seasons, the Buckeyes had only suffered losses in the College Football Playoff.
Ohio State now sits at 1-1 on the year with some real question marks moving forward. The good news is the Buckeyes finally get a break from a tough schedule, hosting Tulsa and Akron the next two weeks before diving back into B1G play.
We’ll see if Day’s crew can get some things corrected and right the ship. If not, it could be a long season for this Buckeye fan.
