Now that No. 1 Alabama just disposed of No. 4 Notre Dame and are heading to the College Football Playoffs championship game, all eyes are now on No. 3 Ohio State and No. 2 Clemson as they take the field in Friday night’s Sugar Bowl – and the pregame warmups got even more attention.
Buckeyes quarterback Justin Fields was seen with a visible wrap on his injured thumb.

Justin Fields has tape on the thumb he injured in the Big Ten Championship Game two weeks ago, but he doesn't appear to be having any issues throwing the ball in warmups.

The wrap is reported to be a precautionary measure, and Fields is able to throw the ball without any problem.
The Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year had a rough game against Northwestern in the B1G Championship game, as Fields was just 12-of-27 for 114 yards, zero touchdowns and two interceptions while taking three sacks. The Buckeyes offense struggled to gain traction against a stout Northwestern defense for much of the contest.
Ohio State and Clemson are set to kickoff tonight (Friday, Jan. 1) at 8:00PM.
