Pro Football Focus shows how Ohio State WRs dominated Week 1
To open the 2018 season, not much went wrong for Ohio State’s offense.
The Buckeyes hung 77 points on Oregon State — a team that everybody has at least heard of. Not every team plays a school we have all heard of in Week 1.
Ohio State scored 21 points in 3 of the 4 quarters and QB Dwayne Haskins threw for 313 yards and 5 TD. Mike Weber did his damage on the ground, too, going for 186 yards and 3 TD.
On the outside, a number of receivers got involved. Pro Football Focus, who has its own rating system for how every player in every game plays, showed what the Buckeyes wideouts did against Oregon State.
Hint: They did really well.

Of the 5 best performances according to the site’s grades, 3 came from Ohio State. And Terry McLaurin and K.J. Hill were the top 2. Austin Mack rounded out the top 5.
McLaurin finished with 121 yards and 2 TDs, while Hill had 6 catches for 82 yards and Mack registered 5 catches for 69 yards.
In Week 2, Ohio State will look to continue its offensive dominance against Rutgers. The game is scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. start on Saturday at home and will be televised on BTN.
