Relentless: Ohio State continues to throw shade at Dabo Swinney after Buckeyes blast Clemson
Ohio State is going to enjoy this. As much shade as Dabo Swinney has thrown the Buckeyes’ way over the last two weeks, OSU will gladly take a few shots at the Clemson head coach after a 49-28 victory in the Sugar Bowl on Friday night.
Near the end of the College Football Playoff semifinal game, Ohio State fired off a tweet reading “This Is Gonna End Real Soon,” signifying that Clemson’s season was about to be over. How’s that a troll of Swinney?

Several months ago, when there were questions about whether or not a college football season would be played, Swinney used Clemson’s nickname, “Tigers,” to create an acronym as it related to the pandemic. As you might’ve guessed, that phrase was :This Is Gonna End Real Soon.”

Ohio State was a heavy underdog in Friday night’s game, but had little trouble with Clemson. After a 14-14 score at the end of the 1st quarter, the Buckeyes broke the game open and controlled the final three quarters.
The Buckeyes got revenge for a loss to Clemson in last year’s Fiesta Bowl. Now, Ohio State is moving on to compete for a national title.
