Adolphus Washington has found a new home in the NFL.

Thursday morning, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Washington has agreed to a 1-year deal with the Miami Dolphins. He heads to Miami after spending the 2018 season with the Cincinnati Bengals. He was waived by the franchise in late April.

Washington is a former third-round pick in the NFL Draft, being selected at No. 80 overall by the Buffalo Bills in 2016. He spent his first two full seasons in Buffalo before being released after just one game in 2018.

He finished his time with the Bills with 56 tackles and 3.5 sacks while starting in 21 games.

After being released by the Bills, Washington was signed by the Dallas Cowboys’ practice squad but that lasted only a few days before he headed to Cincinnati. Now, he’s looking to get his NFL career back on track in Miami.
