Things are beginning to look even worse for Ohio State assistant coach Zach Smith.

Earlier Monday, college football insider Brett McMurphy, Smith was arrested in 2009 for aggravated battery on his then-pregnant wife. At the time, Smith was on Urban Meyer’s staff at the University of Florida. Now, McMurphy is reporting that another domestic violence allegation from 2015 has surfaced against Smith.

No charges were filed at the time of the 2009 alleged assault but the 2015 case is still open.

Last week, Smith was also charged with criminal trespassing. According to McMurphy, “The criminal trespassing charge was for dropping their son off at his ex-wife’s house – and not at a pre-arranged public place – which was a violation of an earlier criminal trespass warning.”

Smith has been a member of Meyer’s staff for 11 seasons at Florida and Ohio State.

Meyer is scheduled to speak at 10:30 a.m. at B1G Media Days on Tuesday.
