Dwayne Haskins has reportedly found a new home after less than two years with the Washington Football Team.

ESPN is reporting that Haskins, who was a former first-round selection in the 2019 NFL Draft, has agreed to a 1-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The news comes a few weeks after the ex-Ohio State star was released by Washington following a tumultuous two years in the organization.

Haskins carved out a spot as the starter for Washington, but off-the-field concerns and issues with the coaching staff resulted in the two parties going different directions. Now, it appears as though Haskins will get a chance to prove himself with Pittsburgh.

During the 2020 season, Haskins threw for 1,439 yards and 5 touchdowns but had 7 interceptions and completing 61.4% of his passes on the year. He also accounted for a rushing touchdown.

Haskins played in 16 career games with the Football Team over the past two years. He totaled 2,804 passing yards and 12 touchdown tosses with 14 picks and a 60.1% completion rate. He was taken with the No. 15 overall selection in the 2019 NFL Draft by Washington.
