Former Ohio State wide receivers coach Zach Smith has been arrested for violating his civil protection order, according to a report.
Kyle Rowland of the Toledo Blade reported on Thursday evening that Smith was arrested on Thursday afternoon after he “became confrontational with staff at Scioto Ridge Elementary when they did not allow him to pick up his children.” He was arrested and taken to the Delaware County Jail where he was charged with a misdemeanor.

Smith was arrested and taken to the Delaware County Jail and charged with violating the CPO, a misdemeanor. He'll be arraigned at 10 a.m. Friday.

Smith is scheduled to be arraigned at 10 a.m. on Friday morning.
The civil protection order against Smith was filed by his ex-wife Courtney Carano in July. Smith was fired by Ohio State after it was made public that the civil protection order was filed against him. His alleged history of domestic abuse was also made public last July.
