Former Ohio State receiver Jalin Marshall will have to miss the first few weeks of the 2019 NFL season, accoridng to a report.

ESPN NFL reporter Field Yates tweeted on Wednesday that Marshall has been suspended by the league for the first four games of the season. There was no reason provided regarding the suspension.

Marshall recently signed a deal with the Canadian Football League’s Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He was signed by the Oakland Raiders in May but was cut shortly after.

Earlier this year, Marshall played with the Alliance of American Football’s Orlando Apollos. That league collapsed before the season was finished.

Marshall played in 10 games with the New York Jets in the 2016 season. He totaled 14 catches for 162 yards and two touchdowns during that season.

Marshall was an undrafted free agent in 2016 after leaving Ohio State.
