Nick Bosa’s first practice with his new team didn’t go quite according to plan.
Matt Barrows of The Athletic reported on Tuesday that Bosa appeared to suffer an injury after a pass rush drill during the 49ers practice. He was clutching his right hamstring and missed the rest of the team’s practice for the day.
There was no other update on Bosa.

Bosa was selected by San Francisco with the second overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, despite missing a good portion of the 2018 college football season. The defensive end was injured in the third week of the season during Ohio State’s game against TCU.
A core muscle injury cost Bosa the remainder of the season after just three games.
While Bosa was healthy and participated in every event at the NFL Combine a few months ago, it seems that he’s been bit by the injury bug again. Hopefully this one isn’t quite as serious as the last.
