Ohio State’s basketball team will reportedly be headed to Atlantis in 2020.

Stadium’s Jeff Goodman reported that the Buckeyes will be one of participants in the eight-team field in 2020. According to Goodman’s report, seven of the teams have been named and one is yet to be determined.

Along with Ohio State, other participants include Duke, West Virginia, Utah, Texas A&M, Wichita State and Creighton. The eighth team will be decided at a later date.

The Battle 4 Atlantis is typically scheduled early in the college basketball season, usually near the end of November. It is one of several tournaments held early in the college basketball year.

The Battle 4 Atlantis began in 2011 and a B1G team has participated every year since 2012. Past participants include Minnesota, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Purdue and Wisconsin. The 2019 field will also feature a B1G team, as the Wolverines will make their second appearance in the event.
