Ohio State WRs coach Zach Smith, the grandson of legendary former coach Earle Bruce, was arrested and charged with criminal trespassing, according to Cleveland.com.

According to court records, Smith was arrested May 12 and has pleaded not guilty. He’s set to appear in court Wednesday at 2:00 p.m.

The report says that Ohio police were dispatched to a home just after 8:00 p.m. on May 12 for a dispute. Smith’s ex-wife is listed as the victim, per the report. OSU hasn’t issued any comment on the incident.

Smith is the only remaining original member of Urban Meyer’s first staff and has been the Buckeyes WR coach since 2012. He previously worked with Meyer at Florida from 2005-09.
