Report: Ohio State center enters transfer portal after two years with Buckeyes

An Ohio State center has entered the NCAA transfer portal.

Eleven Warriors is reporting that reserve center Ibrahima Diallo has entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal. He spent two seasons with the Buckeyes. He appeared in only five games and played 10 minutes during the 2020-21 season, per his player profile at OhioStateBuckeyes.com.

Diallo missed a majority of the year because of injuries.

The 6-foot-10, 220-pound center also played in eight games off the bench for Ohio State as a true freshman during the 2019-20 campaign. In two years in Columbus, Diallo scored 11 points, grabbed 19 rebounds and blocked 4 shots.

Ohio State closed out the 2020-21 season with a 21-10 record and a 12-8 mark in B1G play. The Buckeyes reached the title game of the B1G Tournament and earned a No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
