Ohio State may be without one of its top defensive backs for the rest of the game.

During Saturday night’s broadcast of the B1G Championship Game between No. 1 Ohio State and No. 8 Wisconsin, it was mentioned that defensive back Jeff Okudah is being held out with a potential head injury. He missed a good chunk of the first half.

His absence was a big reason why Ohio State’s defense struggled in the first half, giving up three first half touchdowns to the Badgers. The Buckeyes trailed 21-7 at halftime.

Okudah is regarded as one of the best defensive backs in college football. He’s totaled 26 tackles, six pass breakups and three interceptions through the regular season.

The Buckeyes will need a big second half to grab its third-straight B1G title. It’s unknown right now whether Okudah will return to the field.
