Report: Ohio State DT in stable condition following overnight shooting
Ohio State defensive tackle Haskell Garrett was injured in an overnight shooting in Columbus, according to a report from WBNS 10TV. He is in stable condition and is expected to recover from his injuries.
According to a report, Garrett was found by police with gunshot wound to the “cheeks of his face.” Police were called to the scene around 12:30 a.m. for a reported shooting that occurred. Authorities located blood and shell casings and followed a blood trail that led to an apartment where the defensive tackle was located.

Garrett was taken to the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
No additional information was provided in regards to the shooting or a potential suspect.
Garrett is a senior with the Ohio State football team and is a native of Las Vegas, Nevada. He has appeared in 33 career games with the Buckeyes over the last three years.
