Report: Ohio State is adding a field-level DJ for pregame and during the game

Ohio State fans know all about TBDBITL.
For those that don’t, it refers to The Best Damn Band In The Land. Ohio State takes great pride in its band and what the band can do from an entertainment perspective.

However, in 2019, the band may be having its role limited a bit:

If this is true, and a DJ will be at field-level essentially throughout the entire game, what does this mean for the band? Will the DJ be the main source of entertainment (outside of the actual game being played)?
We’ll find out soon enough, as Ohio State’s 2019 season begins on Aug. 31 when the Buckeyes host FAU.
