The new deal will pay Thomas $100 million over the five years, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, meaning he’ll rake in $20 million per season. That was the total the former Ohio State receiver was looking for during his holdout.
Reports say the guaranteed dollar amount is $61 million. The contract keeps Thomas in New Orleans through the 2024 season.
