Report: Tempers flaring in Jacksonville between Urban Meyer, staff and players
Fans of the Jacksonville Jaguars were excited for the opportunity for former Florida and Ohio State championship-winning head coach Urban Meyer was set to become the head coach. The team knew there would need to be some rebuilding, but the team looks worse on the field as the Jaguars are currently 2-10. Things are even worse off the field for the team and Meyer.
Reports are surfacing that there are many tensions between Meyer and the assistant coaches and his star players including wide receiver Marvin Jones and running back James Robinson. Meyer and Jones reportedly had shouting matches where Jones had to be convinced to rejoin the team by teammates and coaches.

Meyer has also been critical of his assistant coaches by calling them losers and demanding they should remain on the coaching staff.

Meyer has been in the news throughout the season for the wrong reasons. The biggest controversy is of him being danced on in a bar by a woman that is not his wife. He continues to be a distraction as his status as a head coach for next year’s 2022 Jacksonville Jaguars team will be questioned.
