Ohio State signee Emeka Egbuka has shared his pitch to five-star defensive lineman J.T. Tuimoloau about joining the Buckeyes for this recruiting class.

Tuimoloau is the number one ranked recruit on 247Sports for the 2021 class and he’s also the top-ranked player in the state of Washington where Egbuka is also from.

Here’s what Egbuka had to say about trying to bring Tuimoloau with him to Columbus (via Chance Linton of 247Sports):

“You know, you just gotta stay on him heavy,” Egbuka said. “I’ve been calling him, FaceTiming him, since I committed. And you know, we’re good friends, so we joke around about it, make it a good time. But I definitely want him to come play for us, and you know, just help the Buckeyes grow.”

If Tuimoloau were to join Ohio State, it would make their 2021 class that much better. He’s expected to announce his college decision in February for National Signing Day.

Besides the Buckeyes, the other teams that have a shot with Tuimoloau are Alabama, Oregon, Washington, and USC.
