Ryan Day didn’t have many concerns for his No. 3 Ohio State Buckeyes, but his biggest concern was a potential injury to running back TreVeyon Henderson. In the 3rd quarter, Henderson was hit hard in the leg, which forced him to leave.

Day said Henderson could have gotten back in the game after the hit, but the team was cautious for the remainder of the game. Henderson finished the game rushing for 118 yards with 1 touchdown on 19 carries.

Ohio State had no problem putting Michigan State away early on both sides of the field. The Buckeyes led by as much as 49-13 through the first three quarters.

The offense for the Buckeyes accumulated 614 total yards, with 237 coming from the rushing game. Freshman Dallan Hayden was the second leading back for Ohio State as he rushed for 70 yards on 14 carries.

In addition to Henderson’s issue appearing to be minor, the Buckeyes are also anticipating Miyan Williams back after the bye. Coming off of a record-tying performance in Week 5, Williams was out of action and unavailable against the Spartans.
